New mum Nicole Richie hospitalised with pneumonia

Nicole Richie has been admitted to hospital in LA suffering from a bout of pneumonia.

"Nicole has checked into Ceders Sinai [hospital] where she is being treated for pneumonia," her rep confirms. "She is doing well."

The mum of two — she has a 22-month-old daughter, Harlow, and a two-month-old son, Sparrow — has been ill for some time and was a no-show at the launch of her new jewellery line more than a week ago on November 10.

omg she named her son sparrow! gez what a name.

well either way pneumonia sucks i hope she gets better for her kiddies.

i hope she gets better soon and i was watching an interview with Joel and he said they named it sparrow in reference to the fact most people with tattoos get a "sparrow" somewhere. Also the pirate thing with "jack spaorrow". I think its a good name though, something completely different. Dont like"apple" or those though
