The death of the baby brother of missing Sydney child Kiesha Abrahams is under the spotlight of police investigating the six-year-old's disappearance.
Homicide detectives said they would look into the death of Kiesha's baby brother Aiden who died in 2002, aged six weeks, from apparent cot death.
He was born 16 months before Kiesha and found dead in his bassinet.
"Looking at the death of the first child to see exactly what happened will be part of the investigation," Detective Inspector Russell Oxford said.
According to reports from the ABC Online, police investigating Kiesha's disappearance say that her immediate family are all being treated as suspects.
Her family have reportedly left the family home and are living in a motel.
Kiesha's mother Kristi Abrahams told police she last saw her daughter when she put her to bed on Saturday, July 31.
