A man accused of being a former high-ranking bikie has been charged with drug offences following his arrest in a cocaine sting at a Sydney tattoo parlour.
The 45-year-old, who police allege was once a senior member of the Nomads outlaw motorcycle gang, was arrested about midday on Wednesday.
Strike Force Raptor officers were investigating the alleged supply of cocaine from the Newtown business, in Sydney's inner west.
The man, charged with possessing a prohibited drug and possessing a prescribed restricted substance, has been granted conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on July 7.
Police officers allegedly uncovered drugs, including steroids, and weapons at the business on King Street.
Strike Force Raptor was set up by the State Crime Command's Gangs Squad, which targets bikies and their associates suspected of being involved in criminal enterprises.
The man was later charged with possessing a prohibited drug, and possessing a prescribed restricted substance.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on July 7.
